For the moment, the ride tale pic will have to be viewing the grass in my backyard, but I promise some dirty pictures soon! I could show you the pics of my bloody left knee after crashing in the grass/gravel alley, but I'll resist. Gotta get me some knee braces...roost guard...different helmet...boy pajamas...more farkles... Yay for me!!! Link to comment

Huzband
RightSpin's correct. This is what a KTM is supposed to look like; I mean, sheesh, even one of the first pics of my GS had dirt on it. Link to comment
russell_bynum
Sweet. OK...you had an RT and took it places that most guys wouldn't take a dirt bike. Now you've got a dirt bike, so what's the plan.....track days? Link to comment

gottago
Sweet. OK...you had an RT and took it places that most guys wouldn't take a dirt bike. Now you've got a dirt bike, so what's the plan.....track days? I hear Ewan and Charlie have a new ride planned. Long Way Down -- maybe you could join them By the way nice bike!!! STICKMAN
Now plan a trip to where the sticker on the front number plate says "Coco's Corner" in the middle of Baja and then you are talking about riding and getting the bike dirty. Carry plenty of parts and with KTM's they recommend changing oil every 600 or so miles so go back to regular oil and not syn........have fun and keep the rubber side down. Link to comment
Firefight911
Congratulations and welcome back!! Nice bike for sure! I mean, sheesh, even one of the first pics of my GS had dirt on it. All I can do is just hang my head in shame. When you throw such easy ones like that out there, you bring the family name down, too!! PUTZ!!!! Link to comment
Bud
A Katoom. What's up with this? 4 spare airfilters (you need to carry spares on these bikes) Oh well, I guess is is easier than packing a new rear end like some BMW owners have to do. Congrats on the new ride you dirty dog. Expect to see you in the Colorado 500 next year? Link to comment
soboy
Mucho congrats, Steve. For those of you who might not be aware, the previous owner of your new toy is somewhat of a legend - check out his website (I think your KTM is on the first page): http://www.whiskythrottle.net/menu.htm Link to comment

Lineareagle
OK so the comfort seat - is that not in the picture? I didn't think REAL dirt riders even needed a seat! Congrats, have fun, I can see the bumps but I can't feel them! Link to comment
Dances_With_Wiener_Dogs
I didn't think REAL dirt riders even needed a seat! Well, I'm not a real dirt rider, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn once! In fact, it was for a month in Munich...got home last Thursday...bike arrived on Friday...skinned my knees on Saturday. Link to comment
Les is more
That's so great!!!! Congrats, Steve!!!!!!!!! Now to boldly go where no RT has gone bef...Wait--your RT has gone to most of those places this one will just be cheaper to drop! Link to comment
eddd
I'm envious! But I'm still liquid. If I started buying all the toys I lust for, I'd never retire! Link to comment
