Gleno Posted June 28, 2002 Posted June 28, 2002 Uhhhh, just a thought here, but if the name tags brutha Ron produces reflect the real name of the members, how we gonna know who they really are?? I mean there's a lot o schmucks on the board here not using their real names and yet, that's what's going on the tags??? For example: Beemer69, now I know Tim from way back, but if someone who has never met him sees Tim Cropley on his name tag, they'll say "who're you""you new"?? Are ya smellin' what I'm steppin' in??? (No Tim, I'm not callin' you a schmuck) (Much)
Jake Posted June 28, 2002 Posted June 28, 2002 I smell ya, but Brutha Ron's got some big ol boots on. He'll do it like the one on the upper left, including the last name if it is supplied. So you see, he can go both ways.
EffBee Posted June 28, 2002 Posted June 28, 2002 RonB has the sign up list from Brant's post. If you recall, it asked for both your real name and your screen name. As Jake said, it's in good hands.
Brant Herbert Posted June 28, 2002 Posted June 28, 2002 << RonB has the sign up list from Brant's post >> I need to send Ron a refresh. The data I sent him was only real names and email addresses of those with 2 or more attending. I'll do that asap. BTW, what's Ron's cutoff date and will he print blank badges for those who signup (or just showup) after his cutoff?
EffBee Posted June 28, 2002 Posted June 28, 2002 In reply to: BTW, what's Ron's cutoff date and will he print blank badges for those who signup (or just showup) after his cutoff? You'd have to ask him that. However, please keep in mind that on another forum Steve Knapp just posted that Ron lost his mother today. Tread gently.
Montana Hoon Posted June 28, 2002 Posted June 28, 2002 OK, somebody's got to say it..... Badges? We don't need no steenkin' badges.
Ron_B Posted June 28, 2002 Posted June 28, 2002 I'm just about finished with the tags, but I'll keep scanning the list for latecomers. I'll also have some slip-in badges and blanks w/logo in case anyone is missed. They came out nicely with luky's artwork. And don't worry, they have both real names and BBS handles. Since I'll be getting to Gunnison a day late, I'll send them out with Jake or Kathy so they make it there on time.
Ron_B Posted June 28, 2002 Posted June 28, 2002 I scanned this directly so the picture's kinda bad: Anyway, this is it.
EffBee Posted June 28, 2002 Posted June 28, 2002 Thank you Ron for all your fine work. Our collective condolences on the loss of your mom. We wish her godspeed and eternal peace.
BrianT Posted June 28, 2002 Posted June 28, 2002 In reply to: Anyway, this is it. ********************* Ron B - Evanston Illinois - '99 R1100RT Nice job. Take care of your family first. The tags come second. Thanks again.
Agent86 Posted June 28, 2002 Posted June 28, 2002 Anyway, this is it. But I don't want Wurty on my name tag.
Beemr69 Posted June 28, 2002 Posted June 28, 2002 Gleno , BTW , thanks for the intro anyway ......I think !
WURTY Posted June 29, 2002 Posted June 29, 2002 Ron excellent chice for your display picture. Thanks for all the great work. anyone seeing a person with that WURTY name tag on be sure and buy him his choice of beverage
Kathy R Posted July 11, 2002 Posted July 11, 2002 Oh by the way, since Ron won't be at Gunnison until later Monday...and since I will be in town on Sunday....he gave me the badges to deliver. I've been busy with my magic marker. Hope you all like your new moniker's. Hee hee...
