Yeeha! Stephen Posted June 24, 2002 Posted June 24, 2002 Just got back from the Tenn. Tech weekend at Recourses, and found a nightmare on I-40. For those of you heading to Gunnison from the South-Eastern US, BEWARE I-40 from the Nashville Tn area all the way across Arkansas. I took I-40 to Nashville from Little Rock Ark and found heavy constructions delays after about 9 am. Twice I ran up on an area using "Pilot Cars" and stopping all lanes for up to an hour, so they could move equipment across the area. If you are considering using I-40 to get to Gunn., please cross early in the morning and/or be ready for many miles of slow, one lane traffic and long delays. There are even signs posted stating this fact. Good luck and see you in Gunnison!!!!
