Firefight911
Saw this while cruising around A&S's website. Interesting. Linky Link to comment
Mike
I saw that a couple of weeks ago, when I was looking at possible upgrades to my current BMW (plastic) head guards. I guess it's not a bad thing for off-roaders, but it occurred to me that one's money would be better spent on better protection in anticipation of dumping your bike. In addition to crash bars, there are now better (all aluminum, I think) head guards available from BMW, Hornig, and Touratech. To my eye, the BMW version looks the best, but they're pretty pricey--more than $200. Link to comment
Nevets
Beemer condom?? Why not just do the whole bike? Link to comment
smiller
Seems to me that some high-temp duct tape (available in auto parts stores) would be both more effective and less expensive. Link to comment

You beat me to it. I patched a major hole in my lower radiator hose on my cage with some high-temp duct tape, and drove for 3 days with it like that. I figure a small roll of that in the tail section of the bike would work wonders. Link to comment
