BRT Rider
I need to replace the ignition switch on my 2000 R1100RT. I am not replacing the ignition keyed cylinder, just the ignition switch, which is plugged into the bottom of the cylinder. I can access the bottom of the cylinder where the round white plug connects, however the other end goes into the front fairing somewhere. My question is... do I have to take off the front fairing and dashboard to plug in the other end? If anyone has done this and has any tips, I'd appreciate them. Thanks, Bruce Link to comment
Ken H.
The front fairing no. But the dashoboard off will make it much easier. Link to comment
