johnlt
My son-in-law and I went in together and got the HF tire changer. Also got a MoJo bar and went to work putting Torances on both of our KLRs. Although we got much faster on the last set, I'd still just give it a "C". I was hoping it would be easier. Although the MoJo bar is excellent quality, I liked the HF bar better fir tube type tires for spoke wheels. We found it quite difficult to get the tube in "unpinched", expecially the rear wheel. Ruined two tubes in the process. I will say that it is much easier working at 36" off the floor and having a firmly clamped wheel but it is still difficult. I'll try the MoJo bar again if I try a tubless tire for my RT. It will probably be better for that. In the meantime, it is my opinion that they don't pay tire changers enough money!!! Link to comment
