Eerie Ride Through Chernobyl

I never thought I'd be interested in reading about someone who recently rode their motorcycle to the location of the 1986 nuclear reactor meltdown at Chernobyl in the former Soviet Union. But once I went to the website and began reading, I was fascinated. The site was established by a young Russian woman who rides through Chernobyl and the surrounding area, because it's an area "that one can ride through with no stoplights, no police and no danger of hitting any living thing." The site includes lots of photos and her own written narrative. Her father is a nuclear scientist who has participated in the post-meltdown analysis, so she has learned quite a bit from him and she explains things quite well. I believe her slightly broken English enhances the experience.
