question for V-1 owners

Howdy:

 

Is it possible to configure the V-1 with BOTH the remote audio and the remote visual units and have ALL of it powered by a single cigarette lighter type power supply? I can't seem to answer this question myself via the V-1 website. They show various installation set ups but do not have one displayed that answers my question above.

The only difference is that you'd be using the lighter adapter instead of the direct-wire power adapter

That's the way I've always had mine. I have the remote on the dash, the V1 in the LH box and an earphone plugged in.

thanks, I saw that, but since it didn't depict the cigarette style power source with it, I wondered if it would work vice the direct wire option pictured... I am trying to keep V1 and audio inside tankbag with remote visual in the clear map pocket, looks like it is time to spend the dough....

I'm sure the power port & hard wire devices are interchangeable.

They are, as long as you get the newer style lighter adapter, with two ports for plug-ins. The older lighter adapter had only one. The sales people at Valentine are pretty good about getting you hooked up with the right pieces.
