BrianT Posted March 21, 2007 Share Posted March 21, 2007 From what I've read some people have used the Givi E193 plate that mounts onto the rear rack. It is for the R1200RT, but the 06+ K1200GT's appear to have the same rear rack. I've got one on order for myself. However, it only works with the Givi Monokey topcases and is not compatible with the Givi Monolock topcases. Link to comment

The mounting kit for the R1200RT fits the GT as well (both the GT & RT rear racks are the same). The instructions are not very clear on several points, and I'm not too pleased with the way Givi decided to mount this, but it is solid, it works, and is about half the cost of the BMW topcase while being 3 liters bigger.
