flars Posted March 21, 2007 Share Posted March 21, 2007 One thing I would suggest: After removing the spark plug wire, but before removing the spark plug or the valve cover, use an air compressor to blow the dirt out of the hole around the spark plug. If you don't have a compressor, use a can of electrical contact cleaner or compressed air or somethin'. You won't believe how much crap accumulates in there in spite of the spark plug cover and spark plug wire. Link to comment

I have a video of the entire R1200 36K coming out in a few weeks that will be more detailed, and have every operation needed to do all services up to a 36K on the R1200, though 90% applicable to the R1100/R1150 series as well.
