nocones
I'm installing a Kisan Pathblazer on an 04 RT and am wondering how you are supposed to get the wires from the pathblazer through the back headlight cover. Are you supposed to drill a hole in the cover? Or close the rubber seal from the headlight cover over the wires? Or any other nifty ideas? Link to comment
Ken H.
Are you talking about the plug in one that piggybacks on the back of lamp? If so, install it out the outside of the boot. Link to comment
nocones
The kisan for my bike has three wires. two of the wires are used to go inline with the high beam bulb and one is a ground. All these wires are accessed (as far as I can tell) inside the headdlight assembly just inside the back cover. In order to hook up the light sensor (to turn off the kisan at night) you have to get the wire(s) through the back cover. Are you supposed to hook everything up (inline and ground wires) to wires outside the headlight assembly? Link to comment
moshe_levy
See http://www.mklsportster.com/r1150rtkisan.htm I drilled through the plate, using a common grommet to keep dust and moisture out. -MKL Link to comment
