cali_beemer Posted March 15, 2007 Share Posted March 15, 2007 I was looking into a J&M wired headset for the zumo I plan to buy. I noticed that they are working on a new bluetooth unit. Its suppose to play mp3s in stereo using the A2dp technology. Will this work with the new zumo? I know initilaly the zumo wasnt compatabe with that technology but I know that there have been som updates to the zumo. I am still debating on wire vs wireless. I would really like to go wireless but i want stereo sound for the music. Link to comment
Bonkorama Posted March 15, 2007 Share Posted March 15, 2007 The zumo doesnt transmit Xm over bluetooth, tho it does transmit the MP3's and other GPS audio related sounds. XM requires a wired headset. Personally, I dont mind the wire, as the audio quaility in my wireless bluetooth headset isnt all that great. So its a wired helmet for me. I dont even notice the wire. oh, the bluetooth headset i own is a Scala Teamset. Nice product, just like the wired better. Link to comment
