waverider
I change windscreens from time to time depending on my mood and the temp outside (between CB, Z-tek & stock). Anyway, it seems I put a little too much a$$ behind a couple screws and stripped the hole itself out. I tried re-tapping (cutting) the hole to no avail. I can purchase the support arms it seems for about $90 a piece (nice). Anyone done this and have a different work around? It's just one screw on each each side, the other four are fine. SteveHebert
Larry, I am sure that you can re-tap and insert a helicoil. Dudley mat have what you need. Link to comment

Tony_K
Drill to lager size, tap new thread and fit with larger screws (only in the damaged holes) Ian is correct. There is not enough meat there for a heli. Remember it's metric! Link to comment
