CT_Rider
Has anyone found a smokin' deal on the Zumo 550 with the XM antenna included? Link to comment
Mikes07gt
Not a smoken deal but the best I could find. Compuplus through Froogle.com for 883.00 for Zumo 550 and XM ant. You do have to use froogle.com to get that price. Mike Link to comment

Mike That might not be too bad if you wanted to do it in "one fell swoop," but honestly, these days, since you can get a Zumo for around $650 and a GXM-30 for under $200 you certainly aren't tethered to going for a "package deal." It might be a wash, but I see no huge discounts when there are a number of places with good prices on the separates. P.S. Two things: I bought my Zumo at Star Marine Depot when it was $770 in November! But I at least bought my GXM-30 from CompUPlus for under $200... And the Froogle advice is ALWAYS good! Link to comment
JR356
Hi, Find your best deal on the Zumo, then search the ad's here or ibmwr.com or advrider.com. Folks are selling the antenna for under $200. Another option would be to get the Garmin 2730 that comes with the antenna from Costco.com or Amazon.com for under $500. JR356 Link to comment

Yup, then you take the GXM antenna out of the box, give the 2730 to the wife (cuz you love her) and then you buy yourself a zumo. Zumo + GXM = brilliant! DAMHIK Link to comment
DrDakar
Anyone using Zumo here? How does it compare with 2820. I have a 2820 on my bike, and replacing the Garmin V in my car. I am thinking about using the 2820 for the car and buying a Zumo for the bike. A budget alternative is buying a c550 for the car for $450. Is there anyone using the XM NAV traffic service? Some of the Garmin's new models are supporting MSN's traffic service, any ideas about it? Many any in a single paragraph Link to comment
