R1150 RT Power (2004)

I originally posted a question in the trailing section but thought maybe I should make the post here about the engine and clutch. Does a 1150 RT have a strong enough clutch to pull a Bushtec trailer? I would think the engine should be just fine with a 95 hp rating. Does the ABS system pose a problem?

Not knowing what the trailer weighs, I would give a qualified thumbs up. The limiting issue is the tall first gear that the RT is blessed/cursed with. It would help a lot if you had the transmission from an GSA or a cop bike. But you will be fine as long as you don't get stuck starting out on a lot of steep hills 2up. JMHO.
