s3steve
They have them at BMW Canada now but won't release them for a month or so! The feds are looking at them now. I may just have to put the Arai on hold! Link to comment
marcopolo
Any idea of price? Could become a cottage industry supplying our friends south of the border. I just received my HJC AC-12 carbon fibre helmet, so I'm in no need of a new one (also prefer full-face/non-flip up). For those that have been lusting after a BMW helmet, I'm sure they'll be happy. s3steve
No firm price yet but they did say it would be in the same range as top of the line Arai or Shoei. Link to comment

BUMWA
I wear a new one I snagged on ePrey UK for under $400 (worn twice for fitment and put up for sale, with tags, etc.). I love it. However, my System 3 experience several years ago with BMW was severe and FINAL: They would not even discuss sending me a cosmetic trapazoidal side plate and screw that I lost. (Helmet was purchased at the Munich boutique). They are adamant about those helmets not getting to US market, and with Schuberth trying to make a go here, I'm sure they will be that much more defensive. Good luck; I know others who would be interested. Link to comment
marcopolo
I'm sure that, once available, some of us folk in the Great White North would happily be the conduit for a purchase (cash up front, of course ). That said, who would drop that kind of dough on a helmet without first trying it on? Link to comment
Warren_H
OK another reason to ride to Canada this summer. Canada - come for the helmets, stay for the scenery! The main appeal to me is being able to get a tinted visor. I have a five-year old C1 and would upgrade to a Schuberth C2 if I could get a tinted visor. I tinted/dyed one myself and the results were just acceptable. Link to comment
Geraldh
OK another reason to ride to Canada this summer. Canada - come for the helmets, stay for the scenery! That's exactly what I was thinking !! Little different now that we will have something that isn't available in the states. It's usually the other way around!! Link to comment
