Uncle Beemer
I am looking for auxillary lighting to install in the front kidney area on my '04 1150 RT. Does anyone have any recommendations. My preferences are mid range$$ and easy install. Thanks Link to comment

jfremder
I'm happy with a set of Hella FF50's picked up on eBay for $35. They use 55w H7 bulbs. There are two reflector types available, fog and driving. Got mine from 99centsnoreserve EMP Brackets and Autoswitch and you're all set. Link to comment
awagnon
I had PIAA 1100X's, but switched them to 004XT's mainly because the 1100x's use an expensive proprietary bulb. The 004XT's use a stock bulb you can get anywhere on the road. I put the 1100x's on a bike I rarely use on trips. If you intall 1100x's, put dielectric grease on the bulb pins to extend the bulb life. The pins have a tendency to corrode and break off. Link to comment
