DaveWL
I've begun the rebuild of a stripped spline problem. New clutch is in but now have to have the gearbox input shaft replaced. I had hope to do it myself but can't find much detailed info on the procedure. So, can anyone recommend an individual or shop that does quality gearbox work in the Pacific Northwest region? Thanks. RFW
Shouldn't a Haynes or Clymer manual cover the details? The haynes manual for my old K100 covers gearbox rebuilding in extreme detail. Link to comment

DaveWL
Thanks a lot for the replies folks. RFW:The Haynes manual is quite detailed, with the exception of the shimming process. If I could get the detail around how this is done, I would give it a shot. Link to comment
