RichEdwards
About 25 riders headed out on Sunday for the 120 mile ride to DeLeon Springs State Park, near Deland. It was a cool and somewhat foggy morning. When we arrived, the temps had climbed to 60 degrees and we were ready for pancakes. The restaurant sits next to a lake and allows patrons to sit together and make their own pancakes. BMWST.com members included Big D: Jacqueline: Don Canfield (right): and Dorafly: The park's lake is fed by a spring that pumps out water at a constant 72 degrees, so swimming is popular there. They also give scuba diving lessons (the water is crystal-clear.) By the time we headed home, the temps had climbed to 65 degrees--perfect riding weather! Link to comment
