I'm posting a copy of Lisa's video here to make it easier for many to find. There were several people at the funeral who said they wanted to see it, and I was afraid it might be too hard for many to find. Thanks again for putting this together, Lisa.

Awesome video, could someone please tell me the name and Artist of that song, it is great.

Sounds like Josh Groban, "February Song."

Yes, it's is Josh Groban's "February Song" from his latest album, "Awake".

Interesting how I came upon that song for the video. The day before the accident, I was preparing to go on a business trip, and had the Today show on in the background. They were going to have Josh Groban on that day, and were playing a snippet of February Song. I got Josh's album for Christmas, but hadn't remembered that song. I decided to put it on my playlist on my ipod for my trip, as it sounded really pretty.

Then I found out about Gleno, and I decided when I got home I needed to make a video tribute. Something to try and express my love for this man. I had another song in mind, but when I got in the car to come home, this song was the first one in the playlist. I repeated it several times, and I just knew it was the one. I'm not sure what Josh Groban had in mind when he wrote it, but it sure was a perfect score for the tribute video.

I brought my laptop and Bose Wave radio to play an .mp3 of a Scottish Pipe Band playing "Amazing Grace" sometime during the weekend if not at the service. A recording of a bagpipe, or if you're really lucky an entire pipe and drum corps playing "Amazing Grace" is a staple of any Firefighter's funeral and my way of paying tribute to my fallen brother. I talked to Terri the night before the memorial and told her I had it with me if it was appropriate at any time. She told me it was one of Glen's favorite pieces. I also talked with Russell_B and he gave me a low-res copy of Lisa's slideshow. I didn't have the proper cabling to connect to the TV they had at the memorial, so I just piped the sound through the Bose and put the laptop on the stand in front of the TV. I had it on loop before the service and for a bit afterwards. I lost count of all the folks who came up to me and asked me if I did the video and how could they get a copy. I pointed Lisa out to them all and told them it was available here for download. I hope they see this thread. Thanks to Philly for posting this and thanks to Lisa for such a beautiful tribute to such an amazing man.

During the playing of Amazing Grace, in the backround was the roar of big twins, and inline fours roaring up the hill leaving BC. The sweet sound of motors behind Amazing Grace sends chills down my spine even as I write this. It wasn't planned, yet it was no accident. It was just the universe helping send off our friend.

Barry, I was thinking the same thing during Amazing Grace, but hadn't thought about it again until you just mentioned it. Each time I heard those engines roar by, I became more choked up. Some may have thought that the engine sounds were intrusive. But for me, it was sweet music. I've always associated the roar of engines with Gleno, and with many of you. We met because of motorcycles, and most of the time that I saw Gleno, it involved motorcycles and riding. It was a sound that he loved. It was only fitting that it was the sound that we listened to during Amazing Grace. Each engine sound tore at my heart.

Too bad we couldn't have gotten a recording of that.

For someone who never got the chance to meet him... the video brought tears to my eyes.. and made a huge lump in my throat. The sense of loss to those of you fortunate enough to have met him has to be in the realm of totally unbelievable! I know the world has lost someone special.
