jora112233
I've been looking at GPS mounts for a while for my streetpilot III and have pretty much narrowed it down to a Touratech one, with additional bar type bracket to the yoke (additional 20 quid). However, I've recently come across a mount manufactured by Martin Fabrication at a cost of $93 plus $18 postage to the UK, which isn't too bad. http://www.martinfabrication.bigstep.com/homepage.html My question is has anyone out there had any expericnce of this mount? Apparently it's drilled from a single piece of aluminium, but all the photos that I can find show it face on with the GPS in place, which isn't too helpful.. Anyone's thoughts please Jon Cardiff UK Link to comment
Dick_at_Lake_Tahoe_NV
I've been using RAM mounts for years and they work very well. You can get one that bolts right onto the Clutch or Brake mount. Link to comment
Dick_at_Lake_Tahoe_NV
this link shows how they mount. You can order the mount, arm and adapter for your Street Pilot as separate items. http://www.ram-mount.com/gps_mounts/garmin_mount_ga7_gpsmap_496.htm Link to comment
jakfrost
Or if you are looking for a mount for a RT...I have a couple of these left. Made them myself from billet aluminum, except for the 1" ram ball mount of course . 62.00 includes shipping. Jim Link to comment
