Steve1962
Today I rode out through Great Rissington , then onto Bourton on the Water , before heading across country to Winchcombe , which lies in beautiful countryside flanked by hills , alongside which sits Sudeley Castle . On the way back I took a route through the wonderfullly named Guiting Power , and on home via Stow on the Wold . It was crisp , in fact , freezing , but I thoroughly enjoyed it , taking my time to drink in the breathtaking views along the way . As usual , I took the camera , and here are the photos ........... Quinn
Was that a field of deer I saw in two of the photos? Guess I'm just surprised to think you have that much nuisance wildlife left; then again I'm thinking that hunting is not allowed except under stringent control. Link to comment
Steve1962
Yep - deer . They belong to a large estate near Little Barrington , and no doubt are bred for their meat , with their numbers being controlled accordingly - I just happened to spoyt them as I rode past the estate . A lovely sight to see , Steve Link to comment
