Coop_Jr Posted January 23, 2007 Share Posted January 23, 2007 Hello to the group. I'm kicking around the idea of replacing the side guards on my 1150 RT-P. It looks like the exhaust system has to come off so that access to the 3rd inside bolt can be made. Am I correct? Is this whole job a major PIA? Thank you for any input! Coop Link to comment

Woodie Posted March 13, 2007 Share Posted March 13, 2007 Not sure what you're trying to do. Remove existing crash bars? Install new ones? On the R1100RTP, you can remove both front crashguards w/o affecting the exhaust. Due to the close proximity, you MUST have the exhaust headers nice and cool. DAMHIK Link to comment
