dls
I would like to replace the tank protector on my ll50RT. Does anyone have any suggestions on removing the old rubber one without the adhesive damaging the paint? Link to comment
E30TECH
I'd suggest using WD40 or Goo-Gone along with some LIGHT heat on one corner. Let the WD40 or GG penetrate for a while. Heat up a corner and start working it with a plastic scraper (like a credit card). Once it lifts, shoot more WD40 or GG. Link to comment
Ghostdad
Just heat it with a hair dryer and peel it off, then clean the glue residue with rubbing alcohol. And your ready to put on your new one... Dave Link to comment
