Bud
shows the right hand combination switch and what each wire does. Looking to find out the color of the wire that is grounded when the turn signal cancel switch is pressed. This is for a 97 R 1100 RT Link to comment
ShovelStrokeEd
Wires leading to ground are generally brown, or brown with some other color of trace on them. Let your multimeter be your guide, though. Link to comment
Davis
double check me with your VOM but I think Brown is Ground and is connected to Blue/yellow for Right turn and to Brown/white for Turn Cancel Link to comment
Ken H.
double check me with your VOM but I think Brown is Ground and is connected to Blue/yellow for Right turn and to Brown/white for Turn Cancel Yes that is correct. When the cancel button is depressed, brown/white is connected to brown (earth/ground). Link to comment
