0jimbo
Does anyone know where I can buy a quart of BMW paint to paint my mirror and fairing? I have the numbers 794 from under my seat (R1150RT) but BMW doesn't seem to sell anything but touch-up paint. Any ideas? Thanks, -Jim Link to comment
Eckhard Grohe
Glasurit is believed to be the manufacturer of the paint. The code from under the seat is the color scheme code and not the paint color code. Start your paint code search here and follow the link on the page. You will end up at this Glasurit webpage. . Plug in you paint color scheme number(794) into the code box and fill in any additional info. Search and it will return 3 numbers (486+120+121). Plug each of these numbers into the code box and repeat the search. This will then get you the color paint code number for each of the different paints on the bike. Link to comment

I was thinking of buying the jar and using an airbrush to touch up my mirror. Thanks, Perry Link to comment
Tony_K
You need to have the paint mixed up. Professionally. It's 2 stage base and clear. Gone are the good old days of acrilic enamel and the back yard respray! Welcome to the 21st century of water based paint. Link to comment
