Gave our boy a few updates on local new and weather in case he’s home-sick. We were talking about the thread specs when he starts laughing (I’m thinking he starting to get a little punchy), but he says I’m getting lit-up, must be PRC [nervous laugh]crazy.gif, yeap, its him Tallahassee’s finest … I reiterated ericfoerster comments about people staying awake to see this through, he thought that was cool. Let him go, still sounds fresh with about 2.5 hours to go, amazing (23:14 pst)

I never got the call from our hero that he had crossed I-75 so I could suit and go meet him, but I am still moving out that ways. I'll look toward the beach and hope to find you guys out there.

 

I tried to call and his mailbox is full.

yep..just spoke with him as he finished getting his gas receipt. the jax crew is there. arrived approx 7am est. on the way to chow down it sounds like. clap.gif

Twas the 14th of December in two thousand and six,

for 48 hours Rich had taken his licks.

Riding cross country, his GPS as a guide

Cell on auto-answer and HOONS on his side.

 

His wheels just kept turning and burning the miles

While we sat at PC's and keyboards with smiles

We all were there with him, in spirit at least

As the conquered the country from west heading east

 

We laughed at his antics with Fido and Lassie

And gave him an escort as he passed Tallahasee

The Pacific behind him, the Atlantic ahead

And when the party is over, a comfortable bed.

 

And on into JAX to greet friends not yet met

Sunrise at the beach . . . nothing better than that!

And friends the world round in your ear on the phone

I can't even begin to express with words how much y'all mean to me and what you did for me!!!!!

 

The ride was really a piece of cake, because I had so many azmazing co-pilots!!!

 

This wasn't so much me doing something, but what so many people can do for one person.

 

I tried to read a few posts, but realized it will take me hours to read them all, so I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all!!!

 

I could never begin to individually thank each of you, but somehow I hope I'll be able to repay each of you!!!

 

When I posted this, I knew I would be overwhelmed with "love," but I don't think I could ever have predicted something like this.

 

I'm having a hard time even typing through the tears from all this from you all!!!bncry.gif

 

Talk about a family! If only most of the world could have a family this tight, loving, and supportive, we truly would have a peacful and happy planet! I feel like a million bucks, all because of you!!!
