BeniciaRT_GT
As my other post stated, I'm gonna try to do a 50CC. I'm starting off tomorrow at around 07:00 PST. I don't have faith in my knees or butt, but I'll never do one if I don't try!!! So...to make this fun for everyone, I'm posting my ph. number in the hopes of getting a few calls to get some "love" from the board to spur me on and help keep me awake! If you are bored, as I will probably be, give me a ring. (I'll even tell you what I'm wearing under the moto suit ) (6 fiver ohhh) ate too six - 0378. Keep me amused, and even though I'll never remember who called, you can pretend you pushed a below average guy into mediocrity if I finish in time!!! And once I'm famous, you can pretend you knew me!!! I'll let you know when/if I get to Florida! Link to comment
KMG_365
I'll be escorting him to the beach tomorrow morning on my way to work and I'll see if I get a chance to call in during my shift tomorrow. Remember, his new phone doesn't give him any clue that you've called until you say something (it just picks up automatically), so if it stops ringing be sure to try to get his attention by saying something before you just hang up. He did a ride-in at Corbin on his way down and he says it's better than stock, but he's sore already and sits a bit lower so his knees are also now an issue. Y'know, Leslie did it on her first try, so we'll see how much of a stud he REALLY is! (I hope he doesn't see this until he gets home!! ) Link to comment
BeniciaRT_GT
I heard that!!! Link to comment
Firefight911
I bet you two school girls are sitting next to each other on the couch!!!!!! Richard, I am truly bummed that my schedule wouldn't align with yours. I couldn't (well, actually, I could) imagine having a better time than to do this goal ride of mine with you!! Ride strong my good friend! I will harrass you often on your journey. Better still, I hope to post your new saddle bag mount picture by the time you get back!!!! Hey, how is Daphne doing???? (inside joke to be made very public soon!!!) Link to comment
ESokoloff
He did a ride-in at Corbin on his way down and he says it's better than stock, but he's sore already and sits a bit lower so his knees are also now an issue. Any way to pick up a beaded seat cover in-rote? The added height would help the knees & 7 million taxi drivers with happy butts cant be wrong Go Richard-GO Link to comment
Calvin (no socks)
Richard, I'm waiting for you in Neptune Beach with a catchers mitt... c'mon... Take I-10 to Jacksonville and take Atlantic Boulevard to the ocean... see you there! Link to comment

bakerzdosen
Well, I'd call now, but it looks as if you're not leaving for another 15 minutes... Hopefully you started putting your gloves on 10 minutes ago. Good luck. Link to comment
Les is more
Richard set a departure time of 6:15 PST and rode off promptly at 6:30. Link to comment
Carnadero
I'm starting off tomorrow at around 07:00 PST. Good luck, and don't push it if you don't have to. Stop when you need to stop, and rest when you need rest. If you don't make the time, it's no big deal. Safety first. Link to comment
Rocket_Cowboy
I wish I was home so I could ride with ya a while.......be carefull through San Antonio.....traffic and detours all through town on I-10.... Whip It might be too late for him to see this ... but on both my coast-to-coast rides (50CC in 2005, 100CCC in 2006), I used 1604 to detour all the way around San Antonio proper. Don't know how much time it saved me, but I've driven around I-10 and the I-410 loop around San Antonio enough to know I didn't want to risk that. Hope this help, and ride safe. Rubber down! StretchMark
Just talked to Bizarro Boy. Richard is through Yuma, about 100 miles to Tuscon. Sounds like he's having a good time so far. He's received several calls already including one from Boffin across the pond. Good Luck Richard! If anyone else talks to him, give us an update on his progress. Link to comment
GelStra
I was just thinking of calling. I'll wait a bit since you've just revived him. Link to comment

skinny_tom (aka boney)
11:19. Just getting off the phone... It rang twice while I was talking to him. He's been informed of the 1604 loop detour around San Antonio and currently was just outside of Tuscon. 80-something moving average and low seventies overall average. Link to comment

KMG_365
Update at 13:30 hours MST (20:30 hours GMT/CUT. MST=GMT/CUT -7 hours): gassing up just outside of Tucson, AZ on schedule and doing great. I caught him stopped so I got off the phone quickly, but he says everything is going well! His original plan was to put in about 900-1000 miles today to about Junction, TX or so and get a room around midnight CST (GMT/CUT-6 hours) so don't call him after then, but up until midnight CST he might be getting tired and could use some company. GO, RICHARD, GO!!!!!! Link to comment

Firefight911
Talked to him about an hour ago. Hmmm, odd!!! He seemed to REALLY enjoy the blonde cow in a skirt. That is one odd fellow!!!! He is feeling VERY motivated and encouraged by the phone calls he has been receiving!!! He states that he went into this without a heck of a lot of confidence that he actually could get the job done, however, he is now thinking he can get it done. (And the Beatles can be heard in the background) Ooooh, I'll get by with a little help from my friends . . . Go Richard!!! Keep the wig in the tank bag and the skirt tied down. He states he avoided a turning around LEO by having to get off the freeway for fuel!!! Seems as though the 80mph speed limit became 65mph without his realizing it as he passed through a construction zone. Oh, and he wants everyone to know that he has his sheep(skin) with him!! BBAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! Link to comment
Gleno
Okay...time for some fun. I called the Texas Dept of Safety (HP) and gave them his full description, make, model, color, tag#, and whereabouts...as well as his phone #. They are in. for a little bit of fun. Go me. Link to comment
