ElevenFifty Posted October 19, 2006 Share Posted October 19, 2006 I have a 2004 1150 with 43K miles and no problems. . . the dealer says 'don't worry about the final drive, the problem was fixed in 04 with the return to 17BB system.' Is this true? Did the return to the 17 bearing - larger retainer design SOLVE the problem? Or are these also known to fail? Just curious - I'm gonna ride this to 250K come hell or high water.
