timboaz
3 or 4 years ago I purchased a bracket for mounting a CB antenna to my R1150RT, and I think I got it from someone on this board. Please contact me if you make such a part. Timbo Link to comment
LDHack
I made my own for my RT. It's a piece of aluminum flat stock. It is attached to the tail rack bolts. I used the front LH bolt, and the back RH bolt to attach the aluminum stock. That way, the antenna is off to the rear and the right, behind the tail rack. I did have to grind the spacers down so the added thickness of the antenna bracket does not twist the tail rack. Link to comment
timboaz
I have one that I made, but it is not as nice as the one I bought for my 2004. Timbo Link to comment
twilmotte
The antenna mount you're probably referring to is made by "Toolman" (M. Worshum), a member of this forum. I bought one of his mounts about a year ago. It's a fine piece of work and serves me well on my RT. If you can't find his email through a search, PM or email me and I'll send it to you. Also, if you want to see photos of the mount, I can email photos to you. Link to comment
