Fast Flashing Turn Signal

I have not been riding much but yesterday decided to take my RT around town doing my errands. I was out the driveway and turned with the right turn signal on. Everything seemed normal then the turn signal began to flash much faster. I had this happen a couple of times. Is it trying to tell me something?

Everything seemed normal then the turn signal began to flash much faster. I had this happen a couple of times. Is it trying to tell me something?

 

Check the bulb sockets and connectors for corrosion. The lamps flash faster when a bulb fails, so intermittent fast flashing suggests an intermittent contact on one bulb.

I had this happen to me a couple of weeks ago. Turned out the ground connector had come off the right turn signal housing. After I reconnected, the signals worked correctly.
