At the top of the page, just below the BMWSportTouring logo you will see a link to M/C FAQ. Tupperware removal is one of the topics listed on that page (bottom left).

As was already answered by Stan in your last post on the subject the R1100RT's and the R1150RT's are different--there is no "figure-8" slot on the R1150RT's. The only adjustment on the R1150RT shifter is by removing the keeper wire and the ball-and-socket joint and adjusting the shaft by loosening the locknut and turning the threaded end. It's not much of an adjustment, so if you need more you might look into lowering the foot pegs. Some peg lowering kits also come with a shifter lowering kit that might provide more adjustment after your pags are lowered, but I wouldn't know about that.

Caution: if you remove the footpeg plate to make access to the adjuster easier (recommended), be sure to watch that you don't go so far with the adjustemnt so as to allow the shifter to top out on the slot in the plate. You might be able to grind the top of the slot up some if you really need to get that much more clearance.

When I removed the footpeg plate on my '98 RT to see if the shifter linkage was sloppy, upon disassembly of the shifting linkage, the 2 felt washers that go onto the male ball studs fell apart in my hands. You may want to check the condition of those. I disassembled my linkage, put on 2 new felt seals (you have to really press these on hard as they have a very tiny hole in the center of them that expands over the ball stud), greased the ball studs with white lithium grease, pressed the linkage onto the ball studs, and inserted the wire retaining clips. I did not need to adjust the linkage- it was okay- had a few instances of it slipping out of 2nd gear- putting more preload on my shifting now. And, yes, the way to get the mirrors off is you have to smack them off with the heel of your hand on the outside edge- I believe thats covered in the faqs. The first time on the tupperware will be the hardest for you, after that you will quickly get the hand of it. Take notes if it helps you or even take digital pictures. Please fill in the rest of your profile, as it will help.
