texasaggie97
I wanted to see if anyone has any tips on the best way to bleed my brakes and clutch on my 1150 GS. What tools will I need to do this. My wrench Eric Forester lives in texas and I am in California. Any help is grateful. Thanks Todd Link to comment
ericfoerster
Todd, I am just waiting for any of my left coast buddies to jump in here with a mini-tech day offering. I am sure there will be a tech day in your area soon and they can show you how to do these things right. The tools are not the real problem, it's the method in which they must be done. This is a good thing to watch first. I sure miss having my riding buddy around. I guess the folks out there should know that you have been trained in the ways of the twisty road. Maybe some of them could show you around a bit? Link to comment

We'd respond, but we don't want to be seen associating with a known Aggie. Sorry I can't offer any help, but the newfangled power brakes are outside of my realm of experience. I'm sure somebody will respond, though. Link to comment

Ken H.
The step-by-step is in the FAQ section of this web site. Best bet first time though is to have someone who has done it walk you through it. Link to comment
ericfoerster
Todd, Ken is right about having some help the first dance. This is one procedure that makes sense after you see it done the first go-around. You happen to also have some decent dealers out that way that can do it if needed. I can come and show you how to do it. I am afraid AA or Southwest would be expensive if I flew my tools out to see you Link to comment
texasaggie97
Eric are you having a idenity crises? Make up your mind where you are going to live. Eric, I want you to know that I will buy the tools if you fly out here bro. For everyone on the board if your bike is not running well you have to give the man Eric a buzz. I miss the tech days with my personal mechanic. Thanks bro for all your guidance Link to comment

texasaggie97
Wow what a great offer I can not believe I have to pass this time. I work for Pepperdine University and we are starting school the 25 of Aug. I have to train the student staff and we are working weekend from Monday till September 1. So please keep me in the loop. I am always looking for riding buddies and friends who like to turn a wrench and shoot the bull. Link to comment
