Anyway...

 

Just got into the office after lunch. I'm tooling along about 60 on a long stretch of two lane blacktop. A red suv is pulling to a stop sign on my right. I watch as the lady gives a cursory glance at me, and immediately look to her right.

 

I immediately hit the brakes despite the fact that she was not moving - YET.

 

It paid off, she began to pull in front of me as sson as she looked to the right.

 

It was one of those cases where I knew instinctively that she did not "see" me.

 

No harm, other than it was a while down the road before I realized my left blinker was flashing. I got the horn too, and she looked at me with the pale face of horror/recognition.
