chrisstroh
Just did a careful valve adjust and TB sync. It ran beautifully! BUT, after 200 miles or so it seems to be reverting to it's old time surge. My 02 RT has 48k on it and I don't know if the throttle cables have ever been replaced. I suspect them because it's such a delicate adjustment maybe one is binding or something. What should I look for and are the throttle cables a common failure? Are they expensive? I heard they're a B to install. Link to comment
Jim Moore
A whole set of throttle cables is about $70. I would not replace fast idle cable. The job is pretty easy, but you might be better off to have someone help you the first time. Link to comment
