jackflash
I was thinking (dangerous, I know) on the way back from the dealer for the 12K service why the throttle bodies get out of sync. Can anyone explain this? The bike sure runs better both times it's been done. Link to comment
Illini
I think it has more to do with the valves being adjusted. You are always supposed to sync carbs and FI systems after you mess with valves. Link to comment

Can anyone explain this? The bike sure runs better both times it's been done. I suspect it is differential cable stretching. Normally after the 6K service very little if any adjustment needs to be done to the synch. If it starts to drift later - say after 30K miles - I would check the throttle cables for fraying.
