Marty Hill
I'm home. Bike just arrived on Air France cargo from Paris. 9 1/2 weeks/7921 miles and 10 countries visited. Beautiful sights/friendly people and I was able to meet 4 couples involved with BMWST.com. Brian and Bella in Germany. Bart and Caroline in Belgium. Francois and Nina and Miriam and Erik from the Netherlands. Was lucky to be in nurnberg with Brian and Bella when Germany won a game...what a party! Flawless trip if you don't count the burned out headlight bulb...which I will not! Now to the garage to unload the bike and give it a full service. See some of you in Torrey! Link to comment
Paul Mihalka
Welcome back - I envy you! In Europe the miles don't count - there is so much to see so close together that you don't go any distance compared to good USA. They don't have a Kansas to cross to go from here to there. Link to comment

steve.foote
Welcome back, Marty. When you get some spare time, how about getting together one-on-one for some retirement lessons? The more I think about it, I think it's probably better to skip directly to retirement status instead of working for the next twenty years. Your thoughts? Link to comment
Marty Hill
Steve, First you have to be a lazy SOB. I qualify, do you? You need to be lucky...I am. All in all, I'd rather be your age and working. Now, doesn't that make you feel better? Link to comment
steve.foote
Alright, I'll take that as a consolation prize. But, you still live the life of Raleigh. Link to comment

Global_Rider
Alex, I did say that but I'm keeping the steel pallet just in case. Probably back to the swiss alps and north into norway/denmark/finland and sweden. I've been gone for a while and haven't been in forum contact, but did you get a chance to head over to Corsica? This was my first time over to Corsica in my 12 consecutive years of riding here and I can't believe I waited this long. It was worth the hassle of having to take the ferry over...actually, the ferry ride over and back was very enjoyable. Sardinia and Sicily are on my list. Link to comment

I haven't reported it stolen yet so enjoy using it, sort of a rental payment for using the Marty Hill resort while you were gone. I put the key back and will replace the chandelier soon. Thanks.
