Steve1962
After a hectic couple of days at work , I determined to go for a ride after work to rid me of the demons of the day ...... Imagine my horror , when I park up to take some photos , to discover a catastrophic component failure of unimaginable magnitude .............. A BLOWN BULB .... after only 11,400 miles !!! Despite thorough research via the handbook , I realise to my utter disbelief and dismay ............... that it is not a warranty issue , therefore I'll have to stump up the cash to replace it myself .. some photos taken close to home ........ Inclement weather on the horizon ......... This is the road from Burford to Lechlade .......... 9 miles long , and nice to ride ...wide ...with sweeping bends........ and the odd accident blackspot [ see photo of crossroads close to sharp bend ] ......... Parked close to Little Faringdon ........... Here in the village , a pause to check out the church and grounds ............ The low down on the view behind ........ Once more , I find the weather beginning to threaten ........ So I make my way back toward Burford , via the picturesque village of Langford ......... The posing Panzer ........... I wonder what the story is behind this ......... On the road out of the village .......... water once more ............. Back to the road to Burford .....and a quick blast [ of the cobweb kind ] , takes me through the town , and climbing up the hill on the road to Chipping Norton ........ rolling countryside and lilac coloured flowers ........... From here , a short ride takes me home , refreshed after another great trip out on the bike . Steve Link to comment
