KER
was looking at getting a motorcycle lift and was leaning towards a harbor freight lift. Anyone who has one are you happy with it, and if not why? also is there any real difference between the two lifts from harbor freight? http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=94121 $399 and http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=91764 $299 the only difference i really notice is the wheel chock is a little difference. If anyone can offer some advice i would really appreciate it. BTW, this is really going to be used to do a clutch replacement on about 3-4 bikes. Link to comment
Sheepherder
Down load the manuals, it shows them in great detail and there also is a weight difference. Link to comment
Stan Walker
Check the manuals. I suspect the clamping device on the more expensive lift will hold the bike from tipping without needing to use the center stand. The cheaper lift's clamp won't do that I don't believe. In either case I highly recommend using a strap to insure the bike doesn't slip upward out of the clamp!!!!! I can't help you with the HF quality question, I use an old Handy lift.
