BamaJohn Posted October 1, 2024 Posted October 1, 2024 Is it possible that we might be able to pool our individual hotel points to help someone we know who needs help from hurricane "Helene"? I have some points from Best Western and some from Choice hotels that I'd be willing to contribute, but I'd rather them go to someone we know from this group...and if we could pool points, it might make a real difference. Not sure how that might work, just seeing if it's possible. 2
TEWKS Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 I don’t have any points John, but it’s a noble request. Any public details available?
Rougarou Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 Marriott allows it https://help.marriott.com/s/article/Article-22159
Ron-M Posted October 3, 2024 Posted October 3, 2024 I think it is a good idea John, I just do not have anything to contribute.
MikeB60 Posted October 3, 2024 Posted October 3, 2024 Watching this thread... We have a couple of churches in the local area that are making runs with necessities. The church near me is providing the necessities to a couple of food banks in the hard hit communities. I feel better providing support with this type of endeavor when I know the donations are going directly to those in need.
TEWKS Posted October 3, 2024 Posted October 3, 2024 If a BMWST member is truly in need, and the hotel points don’t come together, how about a gofundme page? I’d toss in a couple bucks. 1
TSConver Posted October 3, 2024 Posted October 3, 2024 Do we have anyone in that area? If so post here. I will gladly help out as well.

TEWKS Posted October 3, 2024 Posted October 3, 2024 Richard, you don’t need another John Deere, stop it!

Anyway, I got a recall notice on the 1025r, wife asked what it was about, I's like it's a "stop or you will die cause the brakes may fail notice",....uhmm, tractor doesn't go fast enough to be of concern, recall will get fixed when it gets fixed 1
