Got this recently from MOA - still waiting on the framed award from BMW. Took me seventeen years to do it.

That's a lot of miles in 17 years! I have been riding 30 years now and I don't think I'm there, but I might be. For several I averaged 10k and there was one where I was right around 36k, but there have been some where it was 3k or less (and last year was nearly zero :( !). What I've always been too lazy to do is really keep track - that's an achievement in itself :)

WOW ... that is awesome!   Quite an accomplishment !!    I got my 100,000 a few years back and am close to my 200,000 ... 500k is amazing.   Congrats!

If I combine the three BMW bikes I've had, I'm over 200k,......but I'm only going off of the one that's at 155k:classic_biggrin:

That does make it easier to add up when it's mostly on one bike - that's good planning!

Well, the RT is at 155k (bought with 5k), the GSA is at 41k and I put 13k (bought with 1200) on the HP4

It helps keeping track when only five bikes are involved.

29,412  on average per year is truly an  amazing accomplishment. Congratulations Dave. You are, THE MAN.

Maybe we should call you "500K Dave!"

Another forum member, Ken Deline has a similar yearly average and has done it much longer than I have. Ken went over a million miles  a few years ago.
