MightNotBeThere
Going on a solo long-ish trip in a couple of weeks and thought that a decent bag for the passenger seat would be a good idea. The Kriega looks good (if not inexpensive), and I've had great experiences with their other gear. Any thoughts for or against the 30L bag? Alternatives? (Before anyone suggests tank bags and top boxes, I have both, so am interested solely in a passenger seat bag, in part as I can use it on other bikes) Link to comment
ColoradoGreek
I use this bag from Cycle Gear - 40L REAX Poseidon Dry Bag (https://www.cyclegear.com/accessories/reax-poseidon-dry-bag?utm_campaign=order_confirmation&utm_content=Product&utm_medium=email&utm_source=cycle_gear&sku_id=1643869). I secure it to the passenger seat using a couple of Rox Straps. Never had any issues with the contents of the bag getting wet. Safe travels. Link to comment
9Mary7
These are nice, though not in-expensive..... https://www.giantloopmoto.com/product/great-basin-saddlebag-roll-top/ They have smaller options as well. Link to comment
AppFan
My Moose has been strapped to the back seat of my last 4 bikes without issue. https://www.motosport.com/moose-adv1-dry-bag-trail-pack Link to comment
RTinNC
I have a similar SW Motech bag and it works like a champ! https://sw-motech.us/p/4052572240397?sku=BC.WPB.00.020.20000&variantSelectorGenericColor=black&variantSelectorGenericMaterial=textile Link to comment
Krid
I have two... one old(at least 25 years) dryline rubberized bag I bought at a Honda hoot or sumsuch and an even older one that I got down in Daytona made by "Helen Twowheels" neither of which has ever leaked or caused problems... I have overstuffed, dropped, crushed, and otherwise mistreated these units as any normal Neanderthal motorcyclist would and though I don't pile miles on as I (WE) used to they have both been amazing and maybe 40 bucks each max! Gotta spray the nylon/Cordura HelenTwowheels with a waterproof spray every year or two but it's seen at least 250,000 miles on Beemers, yammies , Hondas and I still use it as a duffel when I camp and when riding solo. It's actually been one of the most utilitarian and functional pieces I ever had! I wonder what happened to Helen, she was quite a woman with amazing stories and her gear was excellent and well crafted. 1 1 Link to comment
