Cylinder guard for 2024 R12 Cruiser

I want to add some nice head protectors to my new ride but even SW-Motech is unsure of fitment. I'm told this engine (listed in manual as type A72B12B) has been around a loooong time. The engine has been around for quite awhile, but the valve covers are unique to the R12.  You might compare your bike with these installation instructions for the SW-Motech protectors to see if you even have the correct mounting points. Still, the shape might be different enough that there could be clearance issues.

Sounds like the best move is to wait for SW- Motech to get an R12 in to see what fits..
