Anyone happen to know a USA preferably source/part# for a new seal for the panniers on my 1997 R1100RT

Cross Country Cycles shows the 46542316077 gasket as a good number & shows price & shipping . You would need to actually call them as that gasket has not been available from BMW for about ever.   (possible they still have some old stock but doubtful)

 

If you can't find stock on that gasket you can make your own from bulk weather stripping of about the same size.  The problem is in locating a place to source it from as you would really like to compare to what you have now so it is a close match. 

 

You might call "Euromotoelectrics"  as they have a bulk 5mm seal for older pannier lids, you will need to ask them if it will work on your later 1100 pannier lids (I think their part number is 46542300042), if it will work then it is also available from them ( Euromotoelectrics) on E-Bay.
