Found - ISO Side Cases for R1100S

Hello.

 

i just bought an 04 R1100S BCR and need cases for my daily commute.  Ideally BMW city cases, but am open to other options.

Left & right R1100-1150 side cases, city and touring lids

Right side case has a broken finger latch

Both cases are missing the divider shelf insert

Both cases are keyed the same and I have one key

Both cases have good hinges and limit straps

Lids are in good condition with minor scrapes and scuffs

Or, do they have part numbers somewhere?

Do you have the mounting hardware?  Should look like this...

City lids and cases were off an 02 R1150RTP, and the touring lids were used on my 96 R1100RS. I don't have any case to bike mounting hardware.

Ok… I will try to figure out if they will work. 
 

Do all the lids fit on the cases?

 

Mounting hardware may be a bigger challenge.  
I should have held out for a bike that came with cases.

Yes, the lids are completely interchangeable, only 4 small bolts and they come off.

 

If your bike doesn't have the mounts those probably will be harder to find than a set of bags.

I think you will not have such a hard time finding the bag rails and lower mounts - check ebay, and if you're willing to spend money check BMW and see if you can still order new (my guess is that you can). Note that you need the rail that runs along the side of the bike by the seat for the top mounts and also the piece that goes up from the peg mount for the third/lower mount on each case. 

 

If you haven't already, you can google and see which version of the system case will fit which bike. The S models will take almost all cases because the exhaust is not a factor - but that means some cases will be smaller on the inboard side than necessary because they have cutouts to fit around/over a muffler.

makes sense about exhaust provisions. 
Strangely the bike came with the lower brackets.  Previous owner took off the passenger pegs and those brackets.
