Motor32
Added Skeene brake modulator to my '23 RT. I wanted to increase the visibility while braking. Now I have it wired so my top-case light now also works as a running light (In stock trim it only works as a brake light). I also added a tag light above the TFT, so I can see what the brake lights are doing, it also makes it easier to flash people coming up from behind.Stevehttps://skenelights.com/ https://www.signaldynamics.com/02003https://www.signaldynamics.com/ 1 Link to comment
Motor32
I forgot to mention that there's no need to mess with the CAN bus, as LEDs pull low current, FYI.Steve Link to comment
rounder jim
I've had the Skene lights on multiple bikes and love them . I swear that with them there is a noticable difference between the amount of time people behind me get on their brakes as opposed to when they do without the lights flashing. But i have little to no confidence when it comes to installing electrical accessories so always have someone else do it. The guy who wired the Skene lights on my new 2022 RT last summer powered them thru the Can Opener for the Clearwater lights. They flicker but I can't get them to go into programming mode. I called Clearwater and was told the Skene lights can't be programmed if powered from the can opener. The guy who did the wiring is up north and we winter in central Florida so I can't ask him to power those lights up a different way. Is there anyone with alot of wiring experience in the central Florida area who would want to take on a side job with me watching to possibly learn something? Link to comment
