Recommended Posts

It’s getting close to that time again!  Please join us at the Kerrville-Schreiner City Park in Kerrville, TX, April 14th - 16th for a couple of days of beautiful springtime in the Texas Hill Country. The rally site is on the hill side (west side) of the park. Rally camping will be in the Fawn Hide-a-Way loop; dining hall and mini-cabins are in the Midway Mini-Cabin loop. The GPS coordinates for the entrance to the Park at State Park Rd 19 and TX-173 are: 30.011739, -99.122925. Note that this is NOT the same as the entrance to the river side (east side) of the park which is on the opposite side of TX-173. Rally Check In opens at noon in the dining hall in the Midway Mini-Cabin Loop on April 14th. The HCH 2023 is a rain or shine event.

Rally fee of $40 includes 2 nights tent camping, Friday and Saturday night dinner, Poker Run (with additional $5 entry fee) on Saturday, and door prizes and awards Saturday night. In addition, you are situated in the middle of some of the best riding in Central Texas, just minutes from Hwy 16 and the Three Sisters.

Great event in the middle of the Texas Hill Country with super riding. Dinner served both nights, but if you need your

Mexican food fix, try El Sombrero. It's not far at 303 Sidney Baker S. Superb poker run.

Just a reminder that this week is the last week to pre-register for the Hill Country Hangout for only $40.00. After March 25, the cost goes up to $50.00 at the gate (cash or personal check). The rally will be held in Kerrville (at the Kerrville-Schreiner Park) from April 14-16. You can visit the SABMWRA website (http://www.sabmwra.org) to register and see photos from last year's rally. You won't find a better camping venue than K-S Park (lots of shade trees and grassy areas to pitch your tent, restrooms with hot showers close by, and a screened-in shelter house with kitchen for evening meals.) We'll be serving up brisket and sausages with sides for the Fri and Sat evening meals, as well as free coffee in the mornings. Your registration includes your camp site, evening meals, coffee, and chances to win some nice door prizes. We'll also have a flea market, poker run, and a 50/50 drawing, so bring a little extra cash if you want to win some extra cash or score a good deal on a motorcycle-related item from our flea market.

Kerrville is right in the middle of the Texas Hill Country -- well known for scenic, twisty roads and gorgeous wildflowers in the springtime. If you're looking for an opportunity to get away for a weekend on your motorcycle and camp in the great outdoors, the Hill Country Hangout is definitely worth your time and money.
