I honestly think that most riders are just afraid to lock up their wheels when the need arises.  He (she?) may have started slowing too late, or been moving too fast, or been inattentive, but I felt when they started applying brakes, they still had a chance to stop in time.  I've actually found myself doing that once or twice in the past, just reacting slowly and not willing to really clamp down on the binders, and rolling longer than I wanted, or I should have.   We all have bad days. Most of us have done "sloppy riding" at one point or another, and not gotten in too much trouble. When things go sideways? 🙄 Well at least no one was hurt in this one (other than maybe their pride and pocket book). 1 Link to comment
