Fall 2022 Check-In thread

Suzie and I had a great weekend.  Rode from our home in Montrose, CO down to Blanding, UT, then up UT95 on a magical day.  Perfect weather.  Perfect road.  Absolutely "at one" with the motorcycle.  Spent a couple of days with friends in Torrey where unfortunately, the Fall foliage hadn't quite turned yet, but the riding was spectacular as always.

"Cheated" and took I-70 back home on Sunday, necessitating just 4 hours.  But we were home by 1PM and in plenty of time to take care of all accumulated tasks, including all of her gardening (man do we eat well and healthy thanks to her green thumb).  Then we had a wonderful dinner with CO friends Walt Fulton and Nancy Foote, along with visitor Randy Lazar and his sidecar-riding dog, Doc (Rad N Doc if you want to look up some of their adventures and see his impressive GS1150 rig).  Many stories shared as well as a beverage or two, and capped off with the MotoGP from Motegi.  Perfect.

Left Mesquite at 4 am. Home by 10:30 am Monday (yesterday).

Temps never got above 85.

The pie (banana cream) at Veyo was pretty good.

See y'all next time!
