joeb
I'm going to put new tires on my GS which has TPS. I haven't had the sensors previously. Is there anything to be careful of while removing the tire ? Are the sensors on the valves ? Thank you. Link to comment
duckbubbles
Just be mindful that the sensors are located at the valve stems. Frank Link to comment

Morning joeb Just keep in mind that it usually isn't the tire iron that damages the pressure sensor it is the tire bead pulling into that sensor that usually damages it. So start your tire iron prying at (or near) the pressure sensor sticker, or at or near valve stem if sensor decal is missing. This will allow the opposite side tire bead to pull down into the rim center area where there is no pressure sensor located. Link to comment
Rougarou
I knew the sensors were there, but didn't pay them much attention,...just change as you normally would but be aware. Link to comment
